What do you think of the contest

We are nearly half way through the voting process, and the new registrations are high.  I'm just wondering if anyone has any comments, or suggestions.  If possible, we will incorporate them into the voting process.

What a great idea. Everyone loves to submit photos of their furkids. I love your Calendar Photo Contest, I did not quite make the deadline, but, The Tucker Scotties are already posing for next year's contest.  Thank you for inviting other clubs to submit photos. I think the contest is going well and brings a lot of exposure to our club. It's a fun way to brag about our dogs and generate some interest outside the terrier club. Hopefully, it will be a great fund raiser. It also allows club members to see other breeds within the terrier group that we probably wouldn't see at meetings, picnics, and small functions. It's a good way to include these other clubs. I think that multiply pictures of one dog may not be a good idea. It's like they are competing against themselves. BTW: I love Scottish Terrier picture #3; he/she looks like he could be on a "professional" dog calendar.

I think the calendar contest is going smashing! What a great fundraising idea for our little club. I can’t wait to buy a calendar for all of my terrier loving friends, what a great holiday gift!  Thank you Gaylain and Murray for all the time and effort you’ve put into this one-of-a-kind contest.  You’re the best!

I look forward to getting calendars celebrating our terriers! With so many wonderful dogs to choose from we should have material for 2008 as well.  I am also amazed at the incredible proliferation of audience responses.
